Rotarians are dedicated business men and women who provide humanitarian services throughout our community and our world.

The Flag Lease Program is the primary fund raiser of the Richardson Central Rotary Club. We deliver and install United States flags to subscribers on designated "flag" holidays throughout the year and take them down after the holiday.

Directions from Dallas Area Airports

To Richardson From Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (approx. 28 miles):

· Take the North Exit from the airport (4 miles)

· Merge onto I-635 East (17 miles)

· Get on US-75 North (4 miles)

· Take Campbell Road exit off Hwy 75 is approximately 5 miles

· Turn right on Campbell Rd.

· Hyatt sits on Northeast corner of Hwy 75 and Campbell Road.

To Richardson From Dallas Love Field (Approx. 20 miles):

· After exiting the airport, turn left onto W. Mockingbird Lane (3 miles)

· Turn left onto the Dallas North Tollway North ramp. (6 miles)

· Merge right onto 1-635 East. (4 miles)

· Get on US –75 North (4 miles)

· Hyatt sits on Northeast corner of Hwy 75 and Campbell Road.

The proceeds of the Flag Lease Program are used to support many local and global charities and programs.

Locally Supported Programs for 2009 & 2010

Locally, the proceeds of the Flag Lease Program have been used to support:

· Network of Community Ministries

· Boy Scouts

· Richardson City Christmas Parade

· Richardson Medical Center for low income students

· Plano Medical Center for low income families

· City Employee and Supervisor of the Year Program

· State Fair Ag Scholarship Program

· Richardson Regional Hospital Volunteers

· Host Richardson Chamber of Commerce Business Awards

· Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA)

· 4 Way Test Speech contest

· Dictionaries for Kids, RISD third grade

Globally Supported Programs

Globally, the funds are used to:

· Group Study Exchange (cultural understanding)

· Purchase wheelchairs for disabled persons

· Immunize children in developing countries against polio

· Assist developing countries with clean water

· Provide support for a School in India
